B.C. to conduct test of BC Emergency Alerts to cellphones, TV, radio

In some ways a similar test to the one in the US a month ago

A Canada-wide test of the National Public Alerting System will occur at 1:55 p.m. (Pacific time) on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, to improve public safety in the event of an emergency. BC and I assume the other provinces in Canada are required to test their emergency network every 6 months, this could be just one of their routine tests
