Accusations of fascism and communist are being thrown around as weapons of insult and worse. Few using these terms have a significant understanding of what they mean. As the spiral of the world political systems winds on, using old words like fascist may be efficient in conveying a meaning but as things are different than the 1930’s and 40’s the old definition while close is not an exact fit.
Ayn Rand referred to fascism as socialism for the corporations, which one looks at the massive amounts of money being provided to the military establishment, pharmaceutical industry etc. it appears that we are on the cusp of fascism 2.0.
