The book looks at what was known about electricity from the 1700’s when electricty was primarily generated as static electricity to now.
When people first experienced electrify it was at levels of intensity much less than now, yet they were reporting a myriad health reactions to electricity. The scientists and medical doctors of the day drew up an extensive list of medical and health concerns, knowledge that seems to be lost intentionally ignored today.
This substack is looking at one chart from @arthurfirstenberg ‘s book the Invisible Rainbow. The chart shows a sudden and massive spike in the incidents of influenzia in England and Wales in about 1888, and the level continues to 1940 where the chart end, presumably the increase continues to this day
What happened in 1888?
Large scale Electric grids and a massive increase in rthe miles of welectric railroads happened then and for the next few year. The accompaning video also looks at the effects of Solar Flares as a co-factor in the increase in illnesses.
The world has not been the same since.
