Why is the most prominent page on ALL Political Parties web Site a "send us money " plea

Is it time we outlaw the business of Political Party?

If one opts to watch the video they can click on the transcript tab and read an AI rendition of what I am saying in the video.

Today when I decided to contact the NDP and request they vote against the 2024 budget bill because of its no budgetary item of giving the Minister of Health broad sweeping powers based on no more than their belief a product might be harmful they could ban the product. Virtually every product if used improperly can be harmful.such broad sweeping powers can not be vested in just one person’s beliefs.

When I went to the page I was immediately confronted with a “send us money” plea. A quick check of other political parties both federal and provincial found all of them to be the same. They were all not interested in the opinions of the people they represent/wish to represent, one has to dig through their site to find a way to contact them - of course once contacting them it is foolish to think they will care what a member of the voting public thinks.

Caused me to think about the business of political party. Presumably non profits as they hand out their extorted collected funds to their friends and other sycophants.

\They don’t need the money for a leaders tour as a leader should not exist until the election results are in and the elected ones chose the leader they will follow,. There would be no need for a leader/media tour with the media being wined and dined for favourable articles - who reads these fantasy articles anyway? The cost for an election in a ridding is minimal; yet somehow these political parties are capable of consuming vast sums of donor and taxpayer money in their quest to one up their opponents.

Take your pick, any political party, don’t vote for them. It only encourages them to do more of not representing the citizens. In just overt a year there will be a national election and a provincial election in BC. If one is fortunate to have an even marginally competent/honest independent candidate, it is time to consider voting independent. I for one do not intend to vote for a business masquerading as a political party interested in what is best for me and my fellow citizens.
