During the fall sitting of the British Columbia Legislature the BC Government past a large piece of legislation after only debating 1/3 of the 600 clause of The Health professions and Occupations Act also referred to as Bill 36. The new act will have serious effect on how health professionals are governed in BC essentially putting them under the direct control of government appointees and out of the hands of the health professionals in the specific disciplines. More about the effects on the health professions in BC John Rustad at the legislature .
Among the sections not debated are some other clauses that could be considered the enabling legislation to allow the World Health Organisation direct control over many aspects of life in BC principally through the Pandemic Treaty and International Health Regulations. Our guest Ruth Magnusson (Davis) has taken a deep look at the Link between Bill 36 an the WHO.
The Link between Bill 36 and the WHO
Bill 36 is the popular name for the new Health Professions and Occupations Act of BC.
This Act was tabled on October 19, 2022, by Health Minister Adrian Dix as Bill 36, and pushed through with little opportunity for discussion.
The statute is very long – over 600 sections and became law in B.C. on November 24, 2022, though it is not yet (as of June 2023) in force. Implementation is probably awaiting approval of the WHO Pandemic Treaty and new International Health Regulations.
The approval of the World Health Organisation (WHO) instruments was originally slated for May this year, but appears to have been moved off to May 2024 while the documents are renegotiated and drafted by the WHO.
The WHO was founded in 1948. It is a sub-agency of the UN and headquartered in Geneva. The governing body within the WHO is the World Health Assembly. (WHA)
WHA employees are unelected. They and their families also enjoy full diplomatic immunity, so they cannot be sued for any acts or negligence. Because they live in Geneva, they are also exempt from paying tax, which is an incentive to stay in power.
The WHO gained international renown and influence during the Covid Pandemic.
Many people are concerned about Bill 36; It has become well known in certain freedom-loving circles in British Columbia because of its heavy-handed provisions mandating vaccines for healthcare professionals, for onerous fines and even jail time for doctors or health care workers who give advice contrary to that which the government wants them to offer, and other draconian provisions.
In May this year John Rustad, the leader of the BC Conservative Party, presented a petition to the BC legislature signed by over 15,000 health care practitioners and concerned citizens demanding the repeal of Bill 36.
While the government and mainstream media are largely silent concerning the Bill, and the people’s legitimate concerns, it is important to raise awareness, both of the problems with the totalitarian tone of the Bill, and also its link with the WHO.
There is even less awareness about the link with the WHO than the draconian nature of Bill 36. Two sections that appear to be directly intended to be part of the implementation of the Pandemic Treaty and the amended International Health Regulations Sections 335 and 533 among other powers these section of the bill will the WHO is direct power over the health care in BC
Yes – in emergencies and always. And also for animals as well as human beings.
There are 4 main areas of concern particular that people should be are of., Mr. Andrew Bridgen a member of parliament in Britain and others has identified the following points of concern:
1. Giving away sovereignty to an unelected unaccountable body. Sovereignty is the power of a country to control its own government.
2. That one body becomes the sole arbiter of truth about health care, mandates, lockdowns, etc.
3. The WHO is compromised: a “captured” agency, captured by big pharma.
4. The WHO has a poor track record. A few recent examples of the WHO and their poor track record are:
Wrong about lab leak, about Ivermectin, about vaccines being necessary to prevent transmission of Covid.
